BellRock has commenced its activities as of yesterday, which includes technical management, personnel, and QHSE activities from offices in Hamburg and Schneytenbach, Bavaria. The partners of this project each hold 50 percent of its shares, and the project consists of five ships owned by MINSHIP and seven ships owned by Oskar Wehr.
Management and Structure of BellRock
BellRock is managed by Thomas Klehr and Matthias Epp, both of whom have longstanding connections with the two founding companies. Klehr has been the CEO of Oskar Wehr since 2006 and helped the company navigate through the KG shipping crisis in Germany in 2015. This crisis led to a significant reduction in the maritime fleet.
Matthias Epp has also previously been responsible for projects and the insurance department at MINSHIP and has experience in ship-related investments and risk management. BellRock operates with the aim of attracting additional technical management and personnel contracts from foreign owners.
Personnel and Future of BellRock
The operations of BellRock are practically led by Lasse Grundmann, who has previously collaborated with Oskar Wehr. Both shareholders will continue to maintain their independent commercial shipping operations. With this new structure, BellRock seeks to establish new contracts in the field of technical management and personnel, which can contribute to the further development of the company.
By forming this partnership and utilizing the experiences of its managers, BellRock has a bright outlook in the shipping and technical management market. This initiative, in addition to strengthening the company's position in the shipping industry, can also help improve the overall market situation.
