The Renewable Energy and Electricity Efficiency Organization (SATBA) has transferred the structure and organizational positions related to electricity efficiency to the Energy Optimization and Strategic Management Organization in line with the implementation of the Seventh Development Plan of the country. This targeted action has been taken to prevent the expansion of government size and improve efficiency in the management of the country's energy.
Details of the Transfer and Human Resource Organization
In this process, the status of contractual obligations of the private sector and the optional organization of human resources have also been precisely determined. Masoud Rezaei, the head of the Management and Resource Development Center of SATBA, stated that the Energy Optimization and Strategic Management Organization has been established in the position of the Vice President by consolidating related sectors in previous agencies. These changes have occurred following the separation of units related to electricity efficiency in SATBA and coordination with the Administrative and Employment Organization of the country.
Method of Personnel Transfer and Evaluation
Rezaei further referred to the method of appointing and transferring active human resources in this area and said: The transfer of employees to the new structure has been done voluntarily, and in two stages, the applicants have been introduced to the Energy Optimization Organization. The evaluation and final decision-making stages are currently underway. Additionally, to resolve legal ambiguities during the separation of duties and missions, the matter has been referred to the Legal Deputy of the Ministry of Energy to finalize the legal framework for its implementation.
The head of the Management and Resource Development Center of SATBA emphasized that the processes for accepting new investments are being transferred to the Energy Optimization Organization. Necessary measures have been taken to protect the security of private sector investments, and clarifying commitments in current contracts is also on the agenda. The ultimate goal of this transfer is organizational synergy for managing consumption and reducing energy imbalance in the country.
