The gas feed sale contract for NGL3100 was signed on behalf of the National Iranian Oil Company and Petro Refining Dehloran. This contract aims to collect, process, and sell associated gases from the Cheshmeh-Khosh, Dehloran, Azar, and Paydar Gharb fields.
Details of the NGL3100 Project
Petro Refining Dehloran (NGL3100) has been established on a 101-hectare site located in the Dasht-e-Abbas and Cheshmeh-Khosh region of Ilam province. This complex is designed to collect and process associated gases from the northern Dezful area, including Dehloran, Danan, Azar, Cheshmeh-Khosh, and Paydar Gharb. The investment made for this complex by pension funds, savings, and welfare of oil industry employees amounts to over one billion dollars.

Benefits of the Contract and Economic Impacts
The implementation of this project is recognized as an important step towards creating added value through the processing of associated gases and reducing the volume of gases sent to flares, thereby preserving hydrocarbon resources and reducing emissions. The feed for this complex includes 120 million cubic feet of sour rich gas from the Dehloran, Danan, and Azar fields, 38 million cubic feet of sour rich gas from the Paydar Gharb field, 56 million cubic feet of sweet rich gas from the Cheshmeh-Khosh field, and 21 million cubic feet of sweet rich gas from the Paydar Gharb field.
Part of this gas will be delivered to Petro Refining Dehloran as feed starting from August 2025, coinciding with the commissioning of this complex. The collection of other gases has also been assigned to this company as part of the flare gas collection project.
The products produced by the NGL3100 complex, upon receiving the full gas feed, will include 40,000 barrels per day (+C2), 850 barrels of gas condensate (+C5), 345 tons of granulated sulfur, and approximately 151 million cubic feet of sweet light gas (methane). This project can also play a significant role in the economic development of the region and in creating job opportunities in the deprived Dehloran area by generating direct and indirect employment capacity.
According to project information, direct employment for about one thousand people and indirect employment for about three thousand people is anticipated.
