MarinePALS and SEAker have signed an agreement for the distribution of digital training records for seafarers in the Philippines. This agreement aims to enhance transparency in tracking the progress of seafarers and accurately recording their training time and experiences.
Integration of Training Records and Maritime Services
This integration allows ship owners and managers to easily access the development of seafarers and review their work records. The connection of training tasks with maritime services provides a more comprehensive report of seafarers' experiences. A key feature of MarinePALS' e-books is the provision of educational content for each task, presented engagingly with videos, images, and infographics.

Development of Maritime Services in the Philippines
In this agreement, SEAker has been introduced as MarinePALS' preferred distribution partner in the Philippines. SEAker has announced that it has over 119,000 registered Filipino seafarers, and this service will be implemented in the coming months, especially with the onboarding of new seafarers.
The e-books have been developed based on a structured training program created by the Global Maritime Education and Training Association (GlobalMET). This program includes training tasks for seafarers in the deck and engineering sectors and provides educational materials to explain the duties of seafarers.
MarinePALS' broader educational content will also be available through SEAker, and the progress of each seafarer will be recorded in their profile. These materials assist in professional development and do not replace the mandatory STCW training courses offered by accredited training centers.
Captain Pradeep Chawla, founder and CEO of MarinePALS, stated that busy schedules and insufficient personnel levels often lead to situations where senior officers cannot spend time with seafarers. The educational content available in these books provides a solution to ensure the necessary knowledge is acquired to achieve competence in each of the tasks.
Captain James Nico Hosana, founder and CEO of SEAker System Technologies, added that significant effort is required for Filipino seafarers to be able to work on a ship and complete their training. He expressed his desire for these seafarers to have a work record that accompanies them during transitions from one ship to another.
