Reza Sepahvand, spokesperson for the Energy Commission, addressed the conditions of gasoline and gas supply in the country and mentioned the topic of energy price increases until the end of the year. He emphasized that gasoline is currently being produced in sufficient quantities in the country and reviewed the existing conditions.

Status of Gasoline Supply

Sepahvand regarding the closure of some gasoline stations due to the lack of gasoline during certain hours of the day stated that this issue is illegal and should be reported to the National Oil Refining and Distribution Company for necessary actions to be taken. He added: "In the last two weeks of Shahrivar, due to increased consumption to over 150 million liters per day, more pressure was placed on gasoline supply, but now this amount has decreased to about 132 million liters per day."

No Change in Energy Prices

Sepahvand continued by referring to the change in the price of the quota for station owners and said that to prevent gasoline smuggling and encourage the use of dual fuels, the price of the fuel card has increased from 5,000 tomans to 10,000 tomans. However, he emphasized: "Currently, there are no plans for price changes by the government and parliament until the end of the year."

Status of Gas in Winter Season

The spokesperson for the Energy Commission also spoke about the status of gas in the winter season, stating: "Due to attacks on several phases of South Pars and gas refineries, the gas imbalance has increased compared to last year, with a reduction of about 130 million cubic meters of gas per day." He noted that efforts are being made to replace gas with liquid fuels, diesel, and fuel oil, and so far 3.5 billion cubic meters of diesel and fuel oil have been stored.

Sepahvand concluded by mentioning the possibility of gas outages in the industrial sector, saying: "Due to the greater imbalance this year compared to last year, gas cuts in some industries will be inevitable, and this situation will continue until the end of the year."
