Parviz Khandal, during a joint patrol and visit to the Shahid Tondgouyan oil depot in Fars province, emphasized the necessity of serious and continuous combat against fuel smuggling and stressed the facilitation and acceleration of the distribution process of oil products and timely provision of fuel needed for stations.
The Necessity of Coordination Among Responsible Agencies
Khandal, referring to the sensitive conditions of the country and existing imbalances in the energy sector, stated: "Combating fuel and oil product smuggling must be seriously prioritized by the responsible agencies, and this issue should be pursued by utilizing existing capacities and strengthening coordination among related agencies."

Implementation of Strategic Policies in Consumption Management
The Secretary of the Anti-Smuggling Commission of Fars province emphasized the implementation of the President's strategic policies regarding optimal fuel consumption management and reducing energy imbalances, especially in the second half of the year, and said: "Special attention to the distribution and supply process of oil products and taking effective measures to prevent fuel smuggling is essential."
Khandal also emphasized the necessity of preventing any interruption in the supply of oil products and added: "Accelerating the fuel distribution process and timely provision of stations is of special importance, and by removing existing obstacles, the continuous supply of oil products should be ensured to prevent dissatisfaction and reduce opportunities for smuggling."
This visit aimed to review the distribution process of oil products, identify existing obstacles and problems, and strengthen synergy among responsible agencies. Khandal stressed the importance of energy consumption management in the current conditions of the country and said: "Protecting resources and oil products and preventing their smuggling is an undeniable necessity, and responsible agencies must pursue this issue with more seriousness and coordination."
Representatives of the province's security agencies and the manager of the National Oil Products Distribution Company of Fars province were also present during this joint patrol.
