Ocean Oilfield has confirmed that ownership of the Ocean MVM rig, previously known as Noble Resolve, has been fully transferred to the company. Ocean MVM is a GustoMSC CJ50-X100 MC type jack-up drilling rig.
Location and Arrival Time of the New Rig
The Ocean MVM rig arrived in Malta on October 13, 2026, and is now actively available for immediate deployment, subject to contractual agreements and operational requirements. The new owner has emphasized that this drilling rig presents an attractive opportunity for operators seeking a high-efficiency jack-up drilling unit for future offshore campaigns.
Ocean Oilfield considers this deal a significant step towards developing and expanding its offshore drilling capabilities, highlighting the design of the GustoMSC CJ50-X100 MC series, known for its high structural efficiency, optimal safety, and reliable performance in challenging offshore conditions.
