Mohammad Mashkinfam, CEO of the National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company, announced an 80% progress in the reconstruction plan of damaged oil facilities and warehouses. This plan was necessary due to the damages inflicted on the oil warehouses in Rey and other warehouses in Tehran province, and it has been executed in wartime conditions with the cooperation of various organizations.
Details of the Reconstruction Plan
Mashkinfam pointed out that the reconstruction plan for the damaged oil facilities and warehouses is unprecedented in terms of the volume of operations and speed of execution, setting records in the oil industry. He emphasized that the contractor for the project was selected in just three days, and the reconstruction operations began. Impacts and Challenges of the Project
The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Engineering and Construction Company identified the cooperation of various organizations, including the National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company, as key factors in achieving this accomplishment. He noted the challenges present in the initial design and mentioned that to avoid wasting time, the design and execution of the plan proceeded in parallel, with the dimensions and volume of work being specified more accurately as operations progressed.
Mashkinfam also referred to the stabilization of the distribution of oil products in Tehran, adding that this distribution is even exceeding previous capacities. He explained that the execution structure of the reconstruction contract is pursued in two main sections; the first section focuses on restoring the distribution and transfer cycle of oil products, while the second section includes the construction of tanks and the completion of other commitments of the plan.
With approximately 60% progress reported in the transfer facilities of products, Mashkinfam expressed hope that by the end of Aban, all infrastructures would return to an optimal state. He emphasized that the mobilization of resources and the continuous efforts of the executing teams have facilitated the rapid advancement of reconstruction operations and the return of fuel distribution infrastructures to operation.
