Iran Alloy Steel signed two memorandums of understanding with TC Bank and the Belarus Commodity Exchange on the sidelines of the Eurasia Summit in Minsk, Belarus. These agreements were made to develop export markets and utilize new trade capacities in the Eurasia region.

Negotiations with Regional Companies

Alongside the economic programs related to the summit, the company's delegation negotiated with representatives from companies in Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Belarus about developing trade cooperation and identifying new markets. The Intergovernmental Council of the Eurasian Economic Union meeting took place on October 1st and 2nd, 2026, with the presence of heads of government from member countries and representatives from observer countries. The main topics of this meeting included the development of foreign trade, economic cooperation, and strengthening regional ties.

Iran Alloy Steel's Strategy in Facing Challenges

During this presence, two memorandums of understanding were signed with TC Bank of Belarus and the Belarus Commodity Exchange to utilize existing financial and commercial capacities and create new pathways for a more effective presence of Iran Alloy Steel in the Eurasian market. These actions come at a time when the Iranian steel industry faces internal limitations in the energy and production sectors, as well as obstacles in foreign trade. Nevertheless, Iran Alloy Steel has based its strategy on opening new pathways and diversifying its export markets.

The presence of companies such as Iran Alloy Steel, Chadormalu, Gohar Zamin, Persian Oil and Gas, and IMIDRO alongside other Iranian enterprises in Minsk reflects the industrial sector's determination to develop regional interactions even under the constraints imposed by sanctions. Regional negotiations and the agreements made in Minsk are part of Iran Alloy Steel's approach to managing today's challenges and opening new pathways for tomorrow's trade.
