Ibrahim Azizi, the head of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, stated regarding the strategic analysis of the confrontation between Iran and the United States that the Americans, especially the President of this country, are trying to push Iran towards surrender and disintegration through the use of strategies of 'negotiation, agreement, crisis' and applying pressure on missile, nuclear, and regional issues.
American Strategy and Its Goals
Azizi explained that this strategy initially begins with 'negotiation and agreement', which is considered a low-cost and high-yield method by the Americans. Then, they enter the 'pressure' phase and ultimately create a 'crisis'; a crisis that they believe means 'war', but this definition differs from the Islamic Republic's interpretation of crisis.

A member of the National Security Commission of the Parliament continued that this strategy, especially in three important subjects for the Americans, namely missile, nuclear, and regional influence issues, pursues the ultimate goal of surrender, disintegration, and overthrowing Iran. Azizi emphasized that this goal is not limited to short-term battles but has been on their agenda since the beginning of the Islamic Revolution.
Validating Threats and the New Security Doctrine
Azizi, referring to Iran's achievements in this confrontation, considered 'proving power' and 'validating threats' as the main results of this battle. He stated that making threats credible is more important than threatening itself, and in this regard, the Islamic Republic of Iran demonstrated during the seizure of oil tankers that if a war occurs, it will escalate to a regional level.
Azizi also referred to the phrase 'honest promise' and explained that this phrase indicates Iran's serious determination to fulfill its promises. He emphasized that if a war starts, they will close the Strait of Hormuz, and this is Iran's right. Additionally, the head of the National Security Commission stated that they will strike at any point that is the origin of a threat against Iran, and they have proven this in practice.
Azizi concluded by stating that Iran's greatest achievement in this battle is the validation of threats and the redefinition of the 'defensive and security environment' of the Islamic Republic. According to him, Iran's security environment is no longer limited to geographical borders, and any point that poses a threat to Iran is considered part of the country's security environment. Thus, the remote security doctrine has replaced the previous perspective.
