The Geneva Dry 2027 conference, one of the prominent events in maritime transport, will take place on April 27 and 28, 2027, at the President Wilson Hotel located on the shores of Lake Geneva, with an expanded and new agenda. This conference will gather ship owners, charterers, traders, miners, brokers, and technology suppliers from across the global dry supply chain.
Innovative Planning for 2027
The 2027 edition offers an innovative agenda with a greater focus on financial and technological aspects. In particular, the topic "Money and Ships" will explore where investments should be made, including second-hand ships, new ships, listed stocks, and emerging technologies. These discussions will be raised in the context of freight markets, fleet supply, financing, and energy transition.

Expansion of Workshops and New Topics
The pre-conference program has also significantly expanded. While the 2026 edition began with the Digital Dry Hard Talk workshop, the 2027 edition will include two special workshops named Geneva Dry Efficiency Workshops. The first workshop will focus on fuel optimization and future fuels, while the second will be dedicated to energy-saving technologies and travel optimization. Each of these workshops will be available for 200 participants on a limited basis and based on early registration.
Other topics will include a session on "Hiring in the Digital Age," which will examine recruitment, retention, training, and the impact of digital tools on life at sea. Additionally, discussions that were raised in the independent panels of 2026 have been incorporated into the new structure of workshops and the broader agenda.
Regarding this transformation, Sam Chambers, one of the founders of Geneva Dry, stated: "The program must align with the dry transport market and not be held repetitively each year. Given the importance of bauxite trade, this topic must be at the forefront. Also, the extraordinary asset markets currently in existence lead us to introduce 'Money and Ships.'"
The Geneva Dry 2027 conference is designed as an opportunity to gather professionals and industry stakeholders in an interactive environment. Furthermore, this event aims to address specific questions about the future of this industry, moving away from general panels to hear real opinions and experiences from ship owners and active traders.
Registration to participate in Geneva Dry 2027 has now begun, and a high number of representatives from reputable global companies are expected to attend this event.
