Hamid Bord, the CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company, emphasized that the country's oil industry is currently in an unequal war and continues to fulfill its duty in energy supply with all its might. He said: "Currently, the oil industry, as an integral part of the national economy, is brilliantly carrying out its jihadist and scientific activities."

Continued Oil and Gas Production in Difficult Conditions

The CEO of the National Iranian Oil Company referred to the existing challenges in oil facilities and added: "The enemy has planned for oil infrastructure, but with the intelligence and insight of our colleagues, oil and gas production continues as scheduled." He compared the state of Iran's oil production with neighboring countries and stated that while some of these countries have halted their production, Iran has maintained its output through proper management and planning.

Collection of Flare Gases and Energy Conservation

Bord also referred to the flare gas collection project and stated: "Collecting 21 million cubic meters of flare gas by the end of the year is on the agenda." He added that so far, 15 million cubic meters of flare gas have been collected, and this figure is increasing. He also urged the public to help the oil industry by conserving energy during these tough times.

This official further stated: "With the efforts of our colleagues, records in oil and gas production have been achieved, and we expect that with the inauguration of new projects, the production of associated and flare gases will significantly increase."

Bord also mentioned future plans in the field of collecting associated gases in offshore fields and clarified that these projects are currently in negotiations with the private sector to achieve desirable results.
