The border guards of West Azerbaijan successfully discovered 28,500 liters of smuggled diesel fuel in an operation. This shipment was seized at the borders of the counties of Khoy and Piranshahr, and one suspect was arrested in this regard.

Brigadier General Mohammad Ahmadi, the commander of the provincial border guards, explained the details of this operation, stating that the border guards, with complete vigilance and intelligence monitoring, identified and stopped two trailer trucks carrying smuggled fuel. Given the significant volume of the seized shipment, its monetary value is estimated to exceed 90 billion rials.
