The police chief of Hamadan Province, Brigadier General Hossein Najafi, reported the discovery of 2,200 smuggled fuel additives on the transit routes of this province. This discovery was made following the implementation of operational plans to combat fuel smuggling and monitor passing vehicles.

Brigadier General Najafi emphasized that police officers, while controlling the transit routes, became suspicious of a truck and issued a stop order. After stopping and inspecting the vehicle, 2,200 smuggled fuel additives of the octane type, which were being transported as cargo, were discovered.

Financial Value of the Discovered Additives
The police chief of Hamadan Province stated that experts have estimated the value of the discovered additives at 21 billion and 200 million rials. In this context, one person was arrested, and a legal case was filed against him and sent to the judicial authorities for processing.
