Utilizing Solar Energy Capacity
The head of the Coordination of Urban Affairs at the Kurdistan Governorate emphasized the necessity of developing solar energy and continued: In addition to managing consumption, we must also utilize renewable energy capacities and pursue the development of power plants and solar systems in executive agencies, rural areas, and other sectors with potential.
Ghaderi pointed out the actions and studies conducted for the use of solar energy by executive agencies, stating: The economic, environmental, and defensive capacities of these projects have been examined, and now the results of these studies must be converted into practical actions.
He stated: The use of solar power plants in executive agencies, in addition to helping to meet part of the energy needs, can reduce the existing pressure on the electricity grid and serve as a suitable model for other sectors.
Continuous Planning and Evaluation
The head of the Coordination of Urban Affairs at the Kurdistan Governorate, referring to the plans of some national agencies to construct centralized solar power plants, stated: It is necessary for each executive agency to have a specific share and plan for the development of solar energy, and this matter should not be limited to the implementation of centralized national projects.
Ghaderi emphasized the necessity of setting goals and continuously evaluating the performance of executive agencies in the energy sector, saying: If the performance of agencies is continuously evaluated, managers will also strive more to enhance the performance of their organization and implement programs related to consumption management and the development of clean energy.
He stressed the need for integrated and developmental management to achieve long-term goals and compensate for energy imbalances, adding: The development of renewable energies must become a continuous program, and executive agencies, specialized organizations, and related sectors must also act in coordination on this path.
