History and Fleet Expansion
Amer Shipping entered this new construction plan by purchasing its first two vessels from Concordia Damen in 2023. Subsequently, the company also purchased two more vessels last November, demonstrating the ongoing trust and cooperation between the two companies. Amer Shipping's fleet now consists of nearly 60 vessels and transports approximately 9 million tons of cargo annually in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, and Switzerland.
The vessels AM Voyager and AM Explorer, which were previously purchased, are currently in service with the company, and the new vessels are expected to be added to the fleet soon. This increase in the number of vessels will help Amer Shipping achieve a higher capacity in providing its services and better meet market needs.
Amer Shipping Company, managed by Bram and Lilian Timmer, who are experienced mariners themselves, is recognized as one of the key players in the Dutch inland shipping industry. The company is striving to become a serious competitor in the maritime transport market by utilizing modern technologies and vessels.
