Alex Vinokurov has been appointed as the new CEO of SRC Estonia. This management change aims to strengthen SRC's growth and expand the portfolio of products and proprietary technologies of the company.

Transformation in SRC Estonia Management

Vinokurov, who previously served as the Innovation Manager at SRC, has taken over the daily management from Hans Lilip, the founder and major shareholder of the SRC group. Lilip will continue to serve as CEO and Chairman of the Board of the SRC group, focusing on strategic management and international business development.

New Vision for SRC Estonia

According to Lilip, Vinokurov's goal is to increase the volume of SRC's business and achieve greater profitability. He emphasized the importance of strengthening collaboration between sales and project units and aims to increase the share of SRC's proprietary products in the company's results. Vinokurov has proven his ability to deliver technical development projects to international clients with a deep understanding of the organization and its customers.

The daily management and business operations of SRC Estonia will be under Vinokurov's responsibility. He will also oversee the manufacturing business through SRC Nordic and SRC United States. Initially, he will continue to lead innovation and the development of the company's proprietary products.

Innovative Projects and Position in the Global Market

The SRC group, based in Estonia, undertakes ship repair and conversion projects and marine facilities from engineering and procurement to installation and delivery. The company's projects include technical conversions, electrical systems, automation, and interior renovations. These works are carried out wherever the ships are located, including ports and shipyards around the world.

As Innovation Manager, Vinokurov has led projects such as the development of a methanol fuel storage system. This solution uses a compact structure of steel and elastomer instead of traditional separation space, which can nearly double the available space for fuel. This solution received the Marine Innovation Award from the Royal Institute of Naval Architects in 2025.

Vinokurov believes that the next step for the company's proprietary products is to convert technical achievements into recurring sales. He stated that shipowners must understand what problem each solution solves and what economic benefits it offers. This principle should guide the development of products and conversion projects that are proposed.
