Seyed Ali Kazemi, the spokesperson for the judiciary, reported on the status of the Faryab mine collapse case in the Kerman judiciary. This case is currently at the preliminary investigation stage, and various aspects of this incident are under review.

Investigation of the Aspects of the Mine Collapse Incident

Kazemi stated in a press conference on Tuesday, October 20, about the details of this incident: "The case of the Faryab mine collapse is under review, and various aspects of it are being analyzed." He also mentioned that the responsibility of the parties involved in mining incidents will be examined according to judicial procedures. This responsibility will include evaluations by labor department experts and official judiciary experts.

Responsibility of Management Factors is Under Review

The spokesperson for the judiciary emphasized: "If experts indicate that the occurrence of the incident was due to the actions or inactions of the managers, and their actions or negligence played a role in the occurrence of the incident, this matter will certainly be subject to judicial investigation." He also referred to similar cases of mining incidents in Tabas, Damghan, and Baft, stating: "In these cases, investigations have been conducted with the same approach. In the Faryab mine case, the responsibility of all effective parties in the occurrence of the incident will be examined."

The chromite mine incident in "Bidouyeh" occurred on October 5 in the Faryab county area and the Hormozgan border. Unfortunately, in this incident, the lives of two members of a family were lost. This incident has technical, safety, and contractual dimensions and is currently under review by the judiciary of Kerman.

The General Directorate of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare has also announced that the deceased were working in the mine under a contracting agreement. This issue will also be considered as one of the aspects under review in the case.
