Colonel Javad Mirzaei announced the seizure of four vessels carrying smuggled fuel in the jurisdiction of Qeshm. He stated that border guards became aware of the activities of fuel smugglers in the area through intelligence actions and prioritized the issue.
Marine Patrol Teams and Seizure Operations
After receiving information and identifying the target location, the marine patrol teams of the Qeshm Coast Guard were dispatched to the area to investigate the matter and began the identification and seizure operations of the targeted vessels. The head of the Qeshm Coast Guard continued that after patrolling and conducting investigations in the reported location, the border guards succeeded in seizing four vessels that were carrying smuggled fuel.

Seized Cargo and Arrest of Suspects
Mirzaei, referring to the seized cargo in this operation, stated that during the inspection of the seized vessels, a total of 10,320 liters of gasoline and diesel were discovered. He also reported the arrest of 10 individuals in connection with this operation and added that the suspects were handed over to the relevant authorities for legal proceedings.
The head of the Qeshm Coast Guard announced the total value of the seized fuels and vessels to be 51 billion and 848 million rials and said: Combating fuel smuggling in the jurisdiction of Qeshm is pursued based on intelligence actions and marine patrols.
