Impact on the LNG Market
LNG shipments have garnered significant attention in recent years due to the increasing demand for flexible energy solutions. Kinetics CEO, Mehmet Katmer, noted that the global LNG market continues to show strong demand for rapid and flexible gas renewal infrastructure. These developments contribute to energy security and increase gas import capacity.
Zeynep Harezi Yılmaz, Commercial Director of Karpowership, also emphasized that by expanding the fleet of floating LNG infrastructure, Kinetics provides greater power to assist customers in securing reliable energy and diversifying their energy mix. These developments are moving towards a low-carbon and sustainable future.
Kinetics' recent transformation in converting LNG to FSRU comes just months after the start of construction of the first unit in the planned next-generation FSRUs at the Tuas Boulevard workshop in Singapore. These steps help Kinetics become a key player in the competitive LNG market.
