Shiraz Power Distribution Company identified 95 illegal electricity connections during the thirty-third Mahtab maneuver and successfully recorded 450,000 kilowatt-hours of energy. This operation was conducted with the aim of identifying and organizing electricity consumption in the region.

Importance of the Mahtab Plan

Ahmadreza Khosravi, CEO of Shiraz Power Distribution Company, stated: "Combating illegal electricity consumption, identifying violations in the distribution network, and organizing connections are among the priorities of the electricity industry to maintain network stability and ensure fair energy supply." He also referred to the effective role of the Mahtab plan in reducing energy waste and improving electricity consumption discipline.

Results of the Thirty-Third Mahtab Maneuver

Khosravi provided details about this maneuver, saying: "During this operation, 40 legal connections were granted, and 110 agricultural well connections were tested. Additionally, necessary follow-ups were conducted for 70 new connections awaiting installation, and 30 electricity meters were installed. These statistics indicate the extensive implementation and supervisory actions for organizing electricity consumption."

According to Khosravi, replacing 20 defective meters resulted in the recording of 33,665 kilowatt-hours of energy, and the installation of 40 limiting fuses and identification of 60 tampered meters were other actions taken during this operation.

Continuation of Actions and Public Cooperation

The CEO of Shiraz Power Distribution Company emphasized: "Reducing electricity imbalance requires a series of simultaneous actions in the areas of production, consumption management, and combating illegal consumption. The Mahtab plan, focusing on correcting consumption deviations and preventing illegal use of energy, plays a significant role in this path." He added that the cooperation of subscribers in reporting suspicious cases of illegal electricity use would help achieve the goals of this plan.

Mohammad Hazrati, director of the Measurement Equipment Supervision Office in Shiraz, also stated: "Accurate monitoring of measuring devices and identifying cases that lead to incorrect recording of consumed energy are among the main focuses of this plan." He stressed the importance of converting illegal connections to legal ones and said: "The collection of 95 cases of illegal electricity and the recording of over 450,000 kilowatt-hours of energy demonstrate the importance of continuous supervision and the field presence of specialized groups."
