This event will be held under the supervision of the Technical, Engineering, and Knowledge-Based Products Services Office of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran and in collaboration with the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Turkmenistan.
Objective of the Iran Project Exhibition
The main objective of this exhibition is to introduce the capabilities of Iranian companies and develop export opportunities in the mentioned specialized fields. By holding this event, the ground for more interaction between economic actors from Iran and Turkmenistan will be provided, which can help strengthen trade relations between the two countries.
Economic Capacities of Turkmenistan
Hasan Morteji, the organizer of the Iran Project exhibition, pointed out the economic capacities of Turkmenistan, stating that this country needs specialized services and technical and engineering capabilities in the energy sector, especially oil, gas, and petrochemicals. Iranian companies can take advantage of this opportunity to participate in various projects and develop their exports.
He also mentioned the existence of about 1,200 kilometers of common border between Iran and Turkmenistan and added: geographical proximity, low transportation costs, and short delivery times are significant advantages of trade with this country. This capacity is especially important for the provinces of Razavi Khorasan, North Khorasan, and Golestan, facilitating more effective participation of economic actors from these regions.
Development of Economic Cooperation
Morteji emphasized the importance of maintaining export markets and added: producers, exporters, and technical and engineering service providers can introduce their capabilities by examining the needs of the Turkmen market and participating in the Iran Project exhibition, and plan for the development of economic cooperation and increasing Iran's exports to this country.
Ultimately, holding the Iran Project specialized exhibition can serve as an important platform for exchanging ideas and collaboration among economic actors from Iran and Turkmenistan and help strengthen trade and economic relations between the two countries.
