The Governor of Khuzestan, Seyed Mohammad Reza Mowali Zadeh, reported on the condition of three employees of the refinery who were burned in an incident that occurred at the Abadan refinery. These individuals are currently hospitalized at the Taleghani Burn and Trauma Hospital in Ahvaz and are receiving treatment.

Mowali Zadeh stated during his visit to the hospital that the severity of the burns varies among these individuals, and a 24-hour period is needed for a more accurate assessment of their condition. He continued: "Necessary medical measures for these injured individuals are underway, and we hope that with the efforts of the doctors and medical staff, their conditions will improve and they will recover from this situation as soon as possible."

According to the public relations of the Abadan Oil Refinery Company, the loud noise resulting from a technical failure in one of the industrial units of this company caused this incident. However, the situation is currently under control, and all units of the company are stable and operating at full capacity.
