Gemak Group, as the first approved research and development center in the Turkish shipbuilding industry, has successfully obtained the second prize in the research and development category at the 2025 productivity project awards. Advanced High-Capacity Transport System
The award-winning project center features an advanced transport and positioning system developed by the Gemak research and development center. This system has a transport capacity of 10,800 tons and its modular architecture allows for capacity expansion up to 26,100 tons. The system's features include fully synchronized motion control across 128 axes and a positioning accuracy of ±0.1 millimeters, enabling precise and controlled movement of large-scale structures.
