The Norwegian shipping company DOF has secured a subsea installation contract for the development of deepwater fields off the coast of Africa. This contract includes the installation of subsea production systems (SPS) and project management, engineering, logistics, and execution services at sea.

DOF's vessel Skandi Acergy will carry out the operations related to this contract, with work scheduled to begin in early Q1 2027 and last for approximately 100 days. DOF will provide project management, engineering, and logistics services, as well as operational execution at sea.
Engineering and Project Management Teams
DOF's engineering teams based in Norway and the UK will support the execution phase at sea. The company's Atlantic region teams in Bergen and Aberdeenshire will be responsible for engineering, planning, and project management activities. The subsea installation will be carried out during a dedicated campaign.
DOF has not disclosed the client's identity or the exact value of the contract, but the company has categorized this contract as a significant agreement that includes contracts worth between $15 to $25 million.
