The director of education in Qarchak County, Vahid Yousefi, mentioned the equipping of 46 schools with solar panels in a speech before this week's Friday prayer sermons. This initiative is intended to meet the energy needs of schools and help address the current energy imbalance in the country.
Importance of Sustainable Energy Supply
Yousefi emphasized the importance of sustainable energy supply for educational environments, stating: "Equipping these schools with solar panels is a significant step towards expanding clean energy production and conserving energy consumption. This initiative not only helps reduce costs but also provides students with the necessary education on the use of renewable energy."

Increasing Educational Spaces and Challenges
The director of education in Qarchak also pointed out the need to increase educational spaces in the county. Given the annual population growth due to proximity to Tehran and job opportunities in the Qarchak industrial town, there is a demand for new educational spaces. Currently, 7 educational spaces with suitable physical progress are under construction and will soon be handed over to education.
Yousefi also noted: "Qarchak County, with 77 educational spaces and 1,900 classrooms, accommodates over 58,000 students, and all schools are ready for reopening. We are striving to make the educational environment more vibrant and provide better conditions for students through transformative programs."
Conducting Training Workshops for Teachers
The director of education in Qarchak referred to the training workshops held in the summer, stating: "These workshops were organized to enhance teachers' skills and familiarize them with modern sciences and new educational techniques. Teachers were introduced to topics such as computer education, artificial intelligence, and new digital software to enter the new academic year with greater preparedness."
Thus, the initiative to equip schools with solar panels and conduct training workshops reflects the ongoing efforts of the Qarchak education management to improve educational quality and reduce energy issues.
