The Bid Boland Gas Refinery has acquired the necessary readiness for continued sustainable gas production in the upcoming winter with the completion of major repairs. These repairs, recognized as the beating heart of preparing refinery complexes for harsh operational conditions during the cold months, have been carried out with meticulous planning and mobilization of facilities and process equipment.
Actions Taken in Major Repairs
Ali Mohammad Pourreza, CEO of Bid Boland Gas Refinery, emphasized the importance of annual major repairs, referring to thorough technical inspections and preventive maintenance of dehydration units, compressors, and instrumentation systems. These actions have been taken to prevent any bottlenecks in the production process and to ensure the safety and quality of gas production.

Safety Approach in Projects
Pourreza referred to the safety approach during the major repair projects, stating: "In Bid Boland's organizational culture, production without safety is worthless." The HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) unit has achieved a record of accident-free work through continuous monitoring and assessment of occupational risks during this period. This reflects the refinery's commitment to the health of its human capital.
The CEO of Bid Boland also mentioned mechanisms for ensuring maximum production, stating: "Ensuring production continuity requires a systemic perspective and online monitoring of operational parameters. With the establishment of new maintenance and repair systems, we are confident that the gas production cycle at Bid Boland will continue uninterrupted."
Environmental and Economic Impacts
Pourreza further pointed out the positive impacts of these actions on the environment, saying: "We consider development incomplete without environmental considerations." By preventing the consumption of 500,000 cubic meters of natural gas and reducing the emission of 1,000 tons of carbon dioxide ($CO_2$), the Bid Boland Gas Refinery has played a significant role in environmental protection. These achievements are equivalent to planting 16,000 trees.
He also announced future plans for smart technology and efficiency in the refinery, stating: "In the near future, we will witness the implementation of more similar projects that will help optimize energy consumption and reduce environmental pollutants." These actions not only demonstrate the refinery's commitment to preserving the environment but also ensure its industrial efficiency for decades to come.
