The customs of South Sistan and Baluchestan, with recorded exports of 464 million dollars in the first half of this year, indicate a 120% growth compared to the same period last year. This increase is evident in the total exports from the operational area of the Chabahar Customs Office and its surrounding borders of Rimdan Dashtyari and Pishin Rask.
Export Details and Main Items
Foreign trade at these customs has gained significant momentum, especially in recent months. Export items include fruits, vegetables, various construction materials, and some petrochemical products sent to neighboring countries. Additionally, the export of non-oil goods from these customs to Afghanistan and Pakistan as the main destinations has played a major role in this trend.

New Systems and Infrastructure Improvements
In line with government policies aimed at developing trade and improving infrastructure, the customs of South Sistan and Baluchestan are continuously updating their systems. These improvements include facilitating customs processes and reducing waiting times for the clearance of goods. These measures have led to attracting foreign investments and increasing trade volume in this region.
The increase in export statistics at these customs is seen as a positive sign of economic stability in the region. Furthermore, the rise in tariffs and the reduction of oversight on certain products have contributed to the growth of this trade. Given the current trend, it is expected that this growth will continue in the second half of this year.
